Gary Hook, M.S., coordinates the NYS Office of Mental Health’s Home and Community Based Services Waiver for seriously emotionally disturbed children. He also co-facilitates sex offender treatment groups at Forensic Mental Health Associates in Albany. For 13 years, Gary coordinated treatment services for juvenile sexual abusers for the NYS Office of Children and Family Services. His previous work experience includes community organizing on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation, working with street gangs in Baltimore City, working as a Parole and Probation Agent, Juvenile Services Counselor and as Child and Family Counselor. Gary is a trainer on the Some Things Impact a Lifetime curriculum, a victim awareness education curriculum. He is a founding member of the NYSASOSP and currently serves as a member of its Steering Committee.
